hey, i have a kawasaki prairie 650 that has been sitting for 2-3 years waiting for a battery and i finally got one for it... i put gas in it and it just wont stay running... help me out please...

 

Clean the carb and change the gas.

 

and if that doesnt work?

 

2-3 years is a long time where was it stored? I would check for critter nest in the airbox or breather hoses. Had that happen on a sled of mine.LOL

It not the same carb as yours but the main and pilot jet will be located in the same place and are what you really need cleaned out.

You could run "Seafoam" though it and hope that is enough to clean the carb.
