Default bushbear 50cc

i bought my son a 50cc bushbear atv. it has loncin engine. gas is leaking out of carburater unless i shut off gas valve. i assume the float is stuck but i can't get it "unstuck". Is there any fluid i can put in the gas tank to clear out whatever is making it stick?

What you have is an issue with the "gel pack" that is put in the carb prior to shipping. It is supposed to help keep the float from bumping around and causing damage. Get it running and let it run for about an hour. With it running, pick the quad up and drop the rear end a couple of times, or use a wooden dowel and hammer to tap around the bottom of the float bowl. It should correct itself after a few rides with the gel, but this will speed the process. Don't put anything in it, as you could damage a valve on the head if you put something in there that burns hotter than gas... Don't care who made the engine, you either get a great one, or a junker- even from Lifan which is arguably the best China engine out there.

Default stuck float

yeah i started with tapping the carb on the side. then i picked up the back end and dropped it down a few times to try and shake it loose but it didn't seem to work. I called the dealer and they said they would send me a new carb.

the bike has about 20 hrs on it and it has leaked since day 1.
