I was reading the tech sheet on the 2000 big bear 400, and it mentioned that it had a fuel cap guage. Does anyone know if this cap will fit on a 97 wolverine tank..this would be very convienent,
to gain a gas guage by mearly replacing the cap..

Thanks..

I'm not 100% sure about the 2000 Big Bear, but my 2001 Big Bear has the fuel guage on top of the tank, not on the cap. I think the 2000 is the same, but I may be wrong.

They said in the article it was a pre-production model, maybe they changed it? Like I said, mine is a 2001 and has the guage mounted on top of the tank, behind and to the right of the filler cap. My dealer told me nothing had changed between 2000 and 2001. But maybe some with a 2000 Bear can respond so you will know for sure. Good luck.

Wishful thinking though. It would be nice if that was the case.. Thing that would suck about that is they would have to have a dipstick on the gas cap which would be a pain in the butt when refueling.

I'm going to be posting pics of it as soon as my girlfriend gets her new pc. Sometime early next week. The lights don't seem to affect the battery any, but I've only had the machine for a few months so we'll see. They are really nice though. I love night driving especially in the winter. Its much easier to see the trails bumps at night in the snow. During the day you only notice any big dips once your right on it.

My buddy and I will be working on a website pretty soon with all kinds of pics. I've ordered a super digital camera that can take 3 min. video clips as well that will be on the sites so keep your eyes peeled!!
It should be out sometime at the end of this month or next..

I forgot to mention, the guy I'm making the site with currently rides a 93 Kodiak but he says he will be trading in for a brand new 400 Big Bear Professional.
