Default 02 Sportsman Suspension

Is there anyway that i can stiffen up the rear suspension? I ride double with my girlfriend sometimes and then my clearance isn't very good. Seems like my big rear tires are right beside my head sometimes ahah.

It has a 5 position preload adjust collar on it. Just raise it up to ease turning, spray some w40 on it & use a spanner wrench. If you don't have a spanner a large channel lock will work and have used a screwdriver but that can be a knuckle skinner.

I believe it is on the bottom. It is kinda of a stepped adjustment. I keep mine on the lowest position for cushy.

Ok i will go take a look. I figure that mine must be on the lowest one also since when i pin it, the back end sags and the front jumps up. It would be nice to just adjust it to stiff when i have two people and soft when its just me.
