Default Header pipe rusting...

Question: My front header pipe is starting to rust and show signs of wear and tear. Was wondering how I could make this pipe look better. I'm pretty sure paint will not work due to the heat. Any ideas...

High temperature paint will work. Look for paint at your local automotive or hardware store made for automotive exhaust headers. Grill and woodstove paint also will withstand the temperatures.

The key is properly preparing the surface. You need to powerwash the header and sand it down so the paint will properly bond and stick.
