Default Skid plates

Does anyone know of a company that makes a skid plate for the X2? I am wanting either just the skid plate or a full set with boot guards.

Default Skids

I checked a bunch of different vendors and came up empty. You would think the aftermarket would have stuff like that. Probably going to have to fashion your own out of aluminum or poly. I had one on one of my old SP's and all it really did was trap more crap in it. Never saw a need for one after that. Try looking into cv protectors and there's a guy on eBay that makes some nice nerf bars that offer good protection and they are only around $65.

There are aftermarket boot guards like "stick stoppers" but Polaris always came with full front to back strong skid plates so I quess no aftermarket company though it was worth making them for Polaris utility ATVs.

I like the "Stick Stoppers" but any boot quard that protects from the bottom as well as the front will be good, stock guards only protect from the front only usually.

Here is nice one from "Cycle Country".

Ricochet doesn't have some for you?

What year is your X2? Look slike a 2007. I have a 2008. I bought a full set but the rears don't fit. If you do a search on A-arm guards you'll find all the background info.

Yea i like the stick stoppers as well. They are one that stands out to me. I also like the ricochet too and after reading what tlc had to say and looking at the ol girl I think the skids on there are just fine. You have a good looking unit tankhead, is that a guru bumper? yes you are correct mine is an 07

I just recived my set of a-arm guards from ricochet and the fronts "fit like a glove", but just like in earlier post there´s absolutely no way to fit the rears...

Emailed Don about it and apperently Polaris changed the design out of the blue....
Ricochet will have a bike in this week to make new rear design that will fit.

I have a 08 X2 by the way
