Default aftermarket carburetors for warrior?

My stock one is crap most of the screws are stripped out the parts inside are rusted in. I am using the stock exhaust since mine needs to be silent and i will not be doing any mods to it, i just want to get rid of my rusty junk carb.

Usally aftermarket parts are easy to work with the only carburetor i have seen for the warrior is a Edelbrock. Are there any others to pick from?

If so post links please.

I have a Keihin that has been on my warrior since I bought it. I think they run about $200 and it works great for me. Also, you can buy aftermarket exhaust that isn't louder than stock.

Yea I don't know what the rating are for sure either, but I read somewhere that the quiet core is suppose to reduce sound by around 4db. Here is a link to a Keihin carb but I'm sure there are other places that sell it too.

Swerve what size main jet are you using on the 38mm Carb it comes with a 160 did you change any other settings?. I went ahead and bought the 38mm and a HMF pipe and a new air filter kit so i can leave the air box lid off. A air filter kit sure does cost alot paid $94 for it came with a K&N filter plus outerwear and the aluminum thing you screw to the inside of the air box for the filter to mount to.

btw does a HMF slip on come with a gasket that seals where the slip on and header join up?

edelbrock makes one of the best carbs for warriors along with mikuni flat sides that have an accelerator pump work the best, and no the hmf just comes with just a bandclamp i had to use some muffler sealing goop to the header to prevent it from leaking in between the header and slip-on

I see that you are using a HMF slip on are you using the sport? How much louder is it then a stock muffler without the baffler in?

its much louder then any warrior with a stock pipe baffle out or not, i keep a spark arrester in mine usually and its still very very loud specially since mine is jetted to run without the airbox lid and it uses a k&n so its real throaty i think these are like 105 decibels or so, so yea there loud but they sound good. yea its the sport, the sport series is the only one the make for the warriors.

Do you know how many decibels stock is? I wanted something that was quite but couldn't find anything.
