Cool tires and wheels

i have a 2003 450 yamaha kodiak that i us primarily for hunting. i notice that atv's have a smaller tire in front versus the tires in the back. is it unusual to put the same size tire in the front as the rear tires? i don't travel fast or take sharp turns and i have seen atv's with the same size tires all around, does it creative handling problems? can any one out there give some advice ?

the fronts r narrower so that it's easier to steer and not as hard on the drive train. steering effort is harder and ur turns usually aren't as tight with wide front tires.

Yea smaller front tires just makes it easier to turn and less stress on your steering components. Wider tires should provide more traction and stability though.
