Trying to check the valve clearance on my 02 Warrior and can't find where to turn the crankshaft manually. I have the fenders, gas tank, valve covers and timing cover off but, can't seem to find where to turn the crankshaft to find TDC.... where do I find the opening or bolt to turn the crankshaft manually?

the plastic cover that says yamaha on it take that off and youll see a bolt that goes through the stator cover and it theads into the crank.

 

Or you can just put it in gear and push it a few inches.
