Hi, I love Hondas but im seriously looking into a Wolverine b/c I want to do some sport riding and still be able to go places. Im 15 yrs old, 5'6" and 135 pounds, I have been working very hard to a year and a half now and ive managed to save up $2100. Im still gonna work so the monthly payments wont be a problem. Any opinions good or bad will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Listen my friend...

I have owned my Wolv. since June00 and this is my first quad every. Let me tell ya..this thing is awesome. Believe me, I have had alot of toys and I would trade them in for a quad for sure!!.

Personally, I don't know how I went this long without one!. Anyways, the Wolv is a great machine and I have alot of fun with it.

It's pretty fast thru the woods and on tight roads..heck even on gravel roads.. and it's not too bad in the mud. Only problem I have with the Wolv. is its poor mud protection. But you can always get fender extensions.

Bottom line is it's a nice machine and I don't think you will go wrong purchasing it. You will be happy.

Have fun,

Boom

For $2,100, at least around here I would not be able to find a decent wolverine for that price. Dont know if you are into the sport type quads but for $2,100 you could get an almost new blaster, mabe a trailblazer.. I recently bought a used (but still new) 2000 blaster for $1,500. Anyways definetly take a long test drive on whatever you decide to buy if its used, if you dont love it dont buy it.

I've been riding Honda's most of my life and my father owns a 300 Fourtrax. Great machines!

I just bought a 99 Wolverine and its one of the best ATV's I've owned.. Its sporty but can be used for work as well. Its got good top end speed and handles pretty good. Its definately everything I want in an ATV accept for maybe being able to put it in 2 wheel drive just for kicks. Don't get me wrong though, its very light steering for a 4by and I don't find it a problem at all. Only other thing that I would prefer is that they would have mounted the choke on the handle bar instead of under the dam gas tank.. Thats minor though..

All my buddies like my Wolverine and one is actually debating on trading his Banshee for one but he's not quite sure yet.

brokemybanshee, i think he meant that he had 2100 to put down, and he would still be working to pay the monthly payments. not sure though, thats what i got out of it. I think that the wolverine would be a great quad. Anyway you go though you wont be disappointed. If you're looking for a sport/utility, this is the one for you.

Oops, diddnt see the "along with payments" Buy the wolverine if you can afford it! I was thinking used for $2,100, not a $2,100 down payment towards a new one.

Honda19- What is your job??...you must make good money to buy a brand new ATV with your own money.

I'm 15 as well, I am looking for a job but they all pay like peanuts...LOL
The monthly paymet sounds good if you can't pay it up front. It must be arounnd $100 a month for a Wolverine right??
