I am an idiot and I seem to have misplaced my key for my 91 250x. Does anyone have any idea how to get a replacement, how much one would cost??
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

If you don't have the key registration number written down anywhere, you might be able to haul your quad to a locksmith, and let him make you one. Or, you could buy a whole new ignition.

If you can get the bike(or the ignition lock) to a locksmith he should be able to make a new key for you.

Take a copy of your title to your local Honda dealer and see if are not able to make or at least order you one based on the ATV's serial number.

take the ignition off and just plug the two wires into each other, than take the igniton switch into a lock smith and get a new key made if you still want a key

I would have to disagree.Just unhook the plug under the cover .Don't hook them together it'll start.Thts how I run mine now the key is lost.It is the way honda 250x's are set up.Thats whaat the dealer told me.I didn't believe it either. But it works.
