Never received warranty card for Sportsman 850 XP
#1
Hello,
I purchased my machine on 1/10/2009 (It is indeed registered with Polaris for the extended two year contract), but I have yet to receive my warranty card.
Has anyone else experienced this same issue?
Thanks,
Pete

Sounds like the dealer didn't file the paperwork with Polaris-did he?, do you know for sure?. Call Polaris directly and make sure you are covered as your 6 month warranty expires in 2 days. Have your bill of sale-or equivalent- and your VIN# when you call.
They may be behind in there paperwork, or the card got lost in the mail, OR your dealer dinged you for the extended warranty; and pocketed the cash-never intending to file.
In any event, you need to find out what happened.

Yes I called Stephan @ Polaris yesterday and I'm good to go. The dealer did indeed enter in the necessary information for my extended warranty and Polaris is sending me a copy of my warranty via mail.

Same thing I had to do..it isn't the dealer that enters the promotional ESPs..it is Stephan..or at least he has a hand in it..I had to call to get a copy also..guess they don't send a copy unless you ask since it is "in the computer". If you purchase and extended warranty the dealer will print out the contract the day you buy the machine.

Are you sure about that HO?
I thought Stephan only did the "camping world" warranty.
I received the shift know also, but no warranty. Between the camping world one I sent and the Polaris Promo, it better be there, or I'm going to Medina!

Sure about what? I am sure I had to call to get the copy of the contract. But you don't have to do so to get the actual warranty..just to get written proof that you in-fact have the ESP. Is that what you are asking? Problem seems to be with the company that does the ESPs, GE Finance I think. Apparently they are not mailing out contracts unless they are requested. So you may very well be in the system just not have recieved the paperwork. Stephan can get the contract mailed out to you if you would like written proof of the ESP.
Normally when you purchase the contract at the time you purchase the machine the dealer can print out the contract on the spot...

I was asking if you were sure that Stephan handled all the warranty stuff.
I was just pointing out that there was two different two year warranty offers. The one from Camping world, and the separate one from Polaris.
I thought Stephan only did the Camping World ones, but I could be mistaken. That's why I asked if you knew.
