Default water in clutch housing

i have a 03 trailboss 330, an when ever i do alot of riding through puddles and small streams and water always builds up in the clutch housing making the belt slip. is there any way to help prevent water from getting in or away for the water to flow out without having to stop and take the plug out...thanks

you should take off the cover and check for cracks... then seal it up nice and tight.. and then if you like going deep snorke it
