First time out on my polaris (vacation) A rattle has developed at low RPM 10mph I have looked around and it appears that the exhaust is rubbing what i believe to be the starter, you can see it under the seat. On vacation a long way from home. Anyone heard of this, suggestions?

Check the heat shield on the exhaust, it's a common problem on the Sportsman. My 800 just started rattling after 30 hrs. Sounds like crap, there's a couple threads here about how to address it.
