grinding noise when starting

grinding noise when starting

my wolverine is making a weird noise when i push start and the throttle but if i just push start and not the throttle it fine what is making this sound?

Hey man did you ever find a solution to this problem? im having the EXACT same issue and cant see anything physically wrong

it may be a bad solenoid, mine is starting to give out.

i can confirm with certainty it was the one way bearing

it looked fine but had been severely overheated!
swap that out and the bearing in the main crank =) slides on under the flywheel
