Hi, I purchased a 02 Kazuman Cougar 250 a few months ago, and have ran into a couple of issues/questions. It has the older 5 speed trasmission instead of the CVT one

1. The speedometer doesn't work (just shows 00), so I'm assuming it is the speedometer cable, any other thoughts/tips/suggestions?
2. The gear indicator doesn't work (doesn't even light up the LED), but the neutral switch does light up.
3. I noticed a small plastic cup that I think is for reverse oil on top of the transmission, left side, right above the reverse pedal. I'm wondering which position (vertial or horizontal) turns this on, and what type of oil (80/90wt or 30wt) should go in here?

Any help or links for more information on this machine would be great.
