Default I drowned my baby help me(i need help in 24 hours) look!!

Hey , i drowned my atv (kodiak) for like 30-40 secends, i looked in oil(no water), drained belt (like 4 gallons), and cleaned my kn filter, NOW my bike will not go past 60km a hour(i flooded it today) i wanted to know wat to do, i know theres alot of fourms about this but i cant seem to find, i need everybodys help, ima be home all day tom.( sadly not biking) and i need posts to try and solve my mistery, when i get to 60 it spits and sputters and it will shut down,

im gonna bet theres still h2o in the clutch, or belt slipping? Think it just needs more drying time. I would pull the clutch though and inspect.

yea alright, so its nothing major?? i got it on and drove home at around 50km the whole way back, when i went around a corner it did seem take a wile to catch up and move

Make sure ALL other fluids don't have water in them! ie oil, trans, etc.!

yea alright, im one of the lucky ones i guess, lol how ya like ur 850??, in my opinion they feel like slugs, they may have power but the suspention and there kind of power makem feel like a slug

ya like previously said, make sure your oil's are oil and not oil/h20. Good idea to change them all anyways for peace of mind even if they look good. And yes it will come back to your top end speed once all the h20 is gone and dried back out.

Just make sure you do not drive too far, This happened to my brother in law and he drove it home. But he wore the clutch sheaves and the dirt gummud up the rollers. We took the clutch apart and regreased it and so far so good.

it wasent mud mud, pure water and weeds, well today i think im going to drive it out and clean some trails up :P i cahnged and all oils and filters ect.
