Default best way to drain gas tank

In my earlier post about a 2007 800 x2 that has been sitting in the garage for 2 years, most of you suggested that I drain the gas tank. What's the best way to do that?
Thanks

you could take it off. maybe unhook the fuel line from the throttle or hook another hose to the fuel line and pump the pump fuel out w/ the fuel pump. just a thought.

They sell these things for like 5 bucks at walmart. You won't get all the gas out but you will get 99% of it. When refilled with fresh gas (Maybe want to treat it this time), I wouldn't think that you would have any problems.
