Bayou KLF220 1990 Dodgy Gear box / clutch and exhaust
#1
I have a KLF220, and it is not the worlds best bike, but it does its job, and won't be replaced anytime soon.
There are three problems.
1. Where the exhaust pipe joins onto the engine oil leaks out. This gets worse as it warms up and the pressure icreases. Once it warms up enough the oil immediantly burns, and it starts smoking. What do I need here? I presume some sort of gasket.
2. The gears can be easily shifted sometimes, but harder to shift at other times. Furthermore it sometimes jumps out of gears into lower gears. Adjusting the clutch doesn't help.
3. When breaking hard from a fair speed, with the foot break somthing around the shifter area makes a clicking sound.
