maybe do a compression test. sounds like you need rings. Do you oil the air filter and or do you ride in dusty areas? Im not sure if its still in the manual or not for a 2005 but i had a 1999 300(same thing, kinda) and it stated"warning,do not oil the air filter" in the owners manual. So i didnt. at 800 miles my rings were shot. Two other friends did the same thing right around the same mileage. one friend replaced his rings 3 times time before realizing what was wrong. ever since i have oiled my filters i have not had an issues.

Default 250 ac

Both my AC 2006 250's are starting to run hot. The dealer told me the fan doesn't kick on until the temp lights flash. They never ran that way before and doesn't sound right to me. Help

Fan should kick on before the light comes on. Should be a sensor in the radiator to turn fan on. Coolant needs to be over the sensor or it will not turn on when it should. TORK.

i ran a comp check and it was about 165 lbs of compression so im guessing its goin to be the oil ring. i just found out the guy who has it poured a whole thing of gas treatment in the tank. the gas treatment was good for 10 gal of gas and he poured the whole thing into that 3.34 gal tank. could that be a reason for it to smoke when it gets hot?????

could be the reason for it to get hot. that stuff burns way hotter than gas. it may have burnt the rings
