Default best quad with power steering polaris or brp in 500 to 800 range

my wife wants a quad with power steering,so far have looked at honda , brp , and polaris. The honda I think is under powered and ground clearance is a concern, the price on the 2010 can-am with power steering is kind of pricey ,am leaning toured the polaris. Does anybody have any feed back for me? THANKS

The Can Ams are nice machines but have weak front ends. That is why I've stuck with my trusty Popo.

Look at the Suzuki KingQuad 500AXi, it has power steering. A review.

i hate when people who dont own outty start saying that they have weak frames. if we are going to go by what everyone else says, then ill say that polaris's are crap and you will always be in the shop and not out playing, and your wife wont need anymore power than a foreman, but if you want more power look at the rubicon with ps

If she wants a Honda, get her the Rancher AT with power steering. They are a blast to ride. The Can Ams don't have weak frames , they just need skids and the front shocks sag a little. The sag can be cured with the Renegade XT shocks.

It's the front ends that are the weak link on the Can Ams. My Popo dealer sells them too and when I was looking at an Outlander 800 they cautioned me not to because they had a lot of them in getting front a-arms replaced and some had tweaked frames. Kudos to them for not selling me a more expensive machine because they know my riding style! If you are not an aggressive rider that stays mainly on trails then the Outty is a great machine. That was the main reason I opted to buy a new 800Sp instead of the 850xp. Took one look at the front end set-up and told the dealer it looks a lot like an Outty. He was quick to point out how much beefier it was but I still wasn't sold. Sorry if some thought I was bashing other brands-just pointing out flaws I've seen(and Popo has them too).

only thing i dont really like about the can ams are the visco lock 4 wheel drive. other than that they are good machines.

me personally im just looking for a reason to pull the trigger on an 850xp with ps. havent been at my new job to long, so not really wanting anymore bills.

Forgot to ditto the Rubicon post. Those are pretty nice machines too and would be worth looking at! Had a buddy with one that pretty much always rode it like he stole it and it lived up to most of his abuse.

the rubicon 500 has just as much power as a sp 500, and it comes with ps, and it rides good for a sra
