Finally got some miles on my 800
#1
Went up to Upper Michigan to visit our families, and of course brought the 800 touring so we can put some miles on it. Put approx 150 miles on while being up there for 7 days - Zillas worked great - only minor thing I noticed at speeds over 50mph they float easily and the rear end wanted to kick out. Course maybe just having the 800 helped with that though too - lol.
The first pic - I did get stuck for a bit - got hung up tree stump going foward and the hitch dug in trying to back out. Moved the stump and motor on out.
second pic - my mother-in-law who bought my old quad
third - just a shot down the main trail
4th - got the wife out using the 800
5th - just playin in the sand

Mileage seemed better then expected - 4 gallons for 100 miles with some WOT and higher speeds. Even with the wife as passenger still got close to the same - but lot slower speeds.
Some more pics:
1st / 2nd pic - good hill climb and the woman folk stayed back, but I should have talked the wife into taking pics of us climbing up. Approx elev 1400ft
3rd / 4th pic - had to get the "money shot" - lol.
Found this sweet mud trail - yes it was marked as a trail (before anyone asks - lol). First time out had to pull out a Honda that got stuck twice, plus I let his passenger ride with me the rest of the way. Second time out had to pull my mother-in-law out twice on her Arctic Cat. Mud had some good suction - shown from pic 5 - lol.

Thanks.....
My wife is from Calumet, so these pics are within a 30 mile radius of her town. The majority where only about 10 miles from her house. We went on one 50 mile trip - the one with pics on the bluff aka Cliff Drive up in Ahmeek.
I got one more vacation in Oct, and will heading up to Michigamme area where our other house is for a week of bird hunting. lol - of course that give me the excuse to bring the 800 up and get some more miles put on.
lol - I must be getting old, cause the mud was a pain to clean off. A few minutes of fun = many hours of cleaning. My mother-in-law was picking on me for cleaning the quad a few times. When we left, it looked like she added fill to her yard where I washed mine off.

I thought that shot of the trail looked kinda famliar.
Where is that mud? I live in Hancock, 10 minutes away from Cali. I'm getting the 800 back from my ex tomorrow and need get this month+ itch of wanting to ride it out. And its been raining.
