Default rear wheel bearing for 1998 sportsman 500

I'm in need of a new rear wheel bearing for my 1998 sportsman 500. If i'm doing 1 I might as well do both. Spending $60+ each at the dealer is out of the question. All the bearings i see on ebay are for 1999 and up models. Where can i find the correct bearings for my 1998 at a price lower than $60 each?

Check with the dealer to see if the 98 & 99 models have the same bearing. Hopefully they do and you are in luck. If not, and you can't find them on ebay, try a bearing distributor in your area. You should be able to take the #'s off the race and they can cross-reference them or measure them and find the proper replacement at a much lower cost than the dealer.

just a quick guess, but looks like that pn# is the same for 98'and 99' but i would do as mentioned above w/ matching the bearing up w/ an aftermarket one for alot less money. if you have a bearing supplier around just take it to them to have them match it up and it will be have the cost. imo
