I just bought this from a friend and relized that either the brake lights dont work or it doesnt have them. Anyone know?

 

I am not intimately familiar with this model/year, but all you need to do is look for a switch on the foot brake. If there is one, it might be out of adjustment or the lamp is toast. There will also be a switch on each handbrake....so it is hard to believe that all three switches are inoperative.....

The oldest Honda I have that has a brake light is an 04, so they were at least beginning to put them on some models in that year.

 

I could be mistaken, but I don't think that year Rubicon had brake lights.

 

they added brake lights on the re-design, i think 06- if it has squair head and taillights there are no brake lights, if they are the new slanted style it should.
