I SIGN THE PAPER FOR THE 400SP TOMARROW AND PICK IT UP FRIDAY. IM STILL NOT SURE .I NEED IT FOR WORK HUNTING AND TRAIL.$6020 FOR PLOW FRONT AND REAR BUMPPERS ANDREAR RACK EXT.ANY OPINIONS

 

When Doug Meyers test rode the SP400 at Polaris for his ATV TV show, he noted that it seemed to perform the same as the pre HO SP500. He liked it...it should be a good unit.

 

I can't say whether you should buy the 400SP or not, but I can tell you confidently that I think that is a good price. My dealer is asking for $6000 out the door. I feel this is a reasonable price, because I trust the dealer, and they are asking for $6500 out the door for an HO. Good Luck or congradulations on your desicion(sp).

I got the same price $6000 for the 400 and $6500 for the 500HO. But I look at it this way the 500 comes with EBS and the 400 doesn't thats a $400 part. So your getting the bigger motor by a long shot for a $100. I would get the 500HO.
