Default 2005 700 ?

What could be causing my 05 700 not EFI to start idleing around 500-700 rpm and then die. When I give it gas and keep the idle up it seem to be getting hot very fast, the raditor is clean. Any thoughts.

Sometimes there are issues with the rubber flange on the carb that gets cracked and can make it run crappy. The overheating may be a seperate issue. Does the fan come on??

Thats the year model on the ecm recall,if you havent replaced it,DO IT before problems really happen! If you have a black finned module under the access panel under headlight pod, then its Chinese and ALL are bad. Replacement is a silver module made in USA. Your local dealer still should be able to warranty! Its main function is charging and fan operation, plus can loose ignition. OPT
