Ok so no one in my area seems to be able to cut or order a spare key for my SP 600. I really dont want to buy and whole new switch. So does anyone out there from experience have any thoughts??

Have you tried a locksmith? Seen a couple people on here that have had them do that.

Have you lost the key itself, or just looking to get a spare?

 

Just want a spare to have. I lost mine the other night and then the next day went back and it was about 1000 feet from where I parked, I must have put it on the trailer and drove off.

 

You don't have pockets on your pants?.

a yamaha key bland will usually match up. if ya lived close to me id say get a yamaha blank and bring me the key..i have the machine just no keys!

take it to a polaris dealer or give them the number off the key and they can make a copy..Put your spare key in the top of your shifter.The top pops right off and you always have a spare key..

 

I went to to the dealer and they said they cant get one, I even phoned Polaris in the States @ their customer service and they told me no as well.

 

I had to bring my key with me to my local dealer and we went through a box of blanks until we found one that had the right grooves in it. Then I had to go to a hardware store to get it cut. I couldn't believe they didn't have a part number for it. Oddly enough I just got a key cut for a buddies Kawi and my hardware store had the blank for that quad.
