I have limited my pipe choices down to the Alba and Graydon pipe the alba seems to put out alot of power but I definitly like the looks of the graydon. Which pipe do you reccomend have you had any experiance with either of these pipes.Hows the reliability on both of them thanks.

The Graydon makes good power too! The fit was good, and they send the jets for it.Also get a high flow filter to go with what ever pipe you get.
Have fun!!!!!!

Yes,the Super Trap disk will quiten it down, but you will also loose some top end,but will increase the low a little. It's also pricy at $70 but I will be taking mt DS to the mountains,so got to have it.

I have the graydon proline pipe,I am pretty happy with it but it hasn't been with out it's problems. So far the ends of the header pipes that bolt up to the heads tend to chew up the O-ring gaskets (back order items)you will notice this if you ever take them off.I had to take my pipe off to fix the exaust leak at the 2 into 1 collector, graydon supplied me with special clear hi-temp silicone to put in at these locations.(seemed to fix the problem)I also just had rear section of tail pipe break free from the brazed on bracket that bolts to the lower part of the frame.Again Steve Graydon is standing behind his product and promises to fix the problem, said that the brackets are now being heli-arc welded(not brazed).I should be geting my tail section back soon. Also bought the super-trapp tip but I have not tried it yet.

jeffnrivercity,I have had a small leak at the same place(two into the one, between the top and bottom).I can stick my fingers behind it and feel small puffs of air coming threw.I have talked to Graydon and they have also sent me some clear silicone to try.I got to get itt out a little this last week end and it held for a little while, then it started leaking again.I will have seal it again. Why did you remove the header pipe?I am removing the both rear sections(pulling them back)then puting it back on.It seems that this area of the pipe has a problem with sealing up.Have you gotten your DS out and ridden it yet?Hope that it holds!

clif,I removed my header pipes so I could clean the ends (with a scotch-brite pad)that go into the collector pipe.If you let the silicone dry for 24 hours before you start your motor it seems to seal better, although I did have a little residue leak out at the joints i didn't notice any exaust leaks . I had put about 150 miles on the pipe since I sealed it

jeffnrivercity, did you also get the Graydon rev-box.Steve Graydon was sure pushing it.He told me that if I was to get his rev-box that it would be like when I put his pipe on from stock pipe(night and day). I am thinking about it,but have not herd from any one that has one.I asked him if it was realy that great, and he told me that he would not put his name on it if was not. He sead that Ron Woods rev-box power is all in the high, while his is in the low to mid.I dont know,$400 for a rev-box is kind of high, but if it is like Steve says it would be well worth it.He sead that he can not keep his employes off there project DS.I bet!!!!!!!
