I came across this post while wasteing/passing time at work. Any one disconnect or know anyone that has disconnected their swaybar. Thoughts and opinions?

It will enable the rear to articulate more in the mud but trail riding will not be as stable. Know folks that do the same with their Jeeps for muddin/crawling.

 

I think it would handle great in rough terrain like rock climbing and what not, but what about when cornering at higher speeds? I think it would lean to much.

 

That link looks like it might be well worth the trip to the store. I know up here in Ontario we get some trails that are pretty rocky and muddy as hell. It would be nice to have that option.

Nice part is there is really 0 way that this can come apart while riding in the trails!!

I have run without a sway bar for years on a yamaha grizz but not to my new polaris.I removed the sway bar on my new xp and run up my springs pre load one notch and went for a spin.On a short run up the pavement then quick turns I would say I didn't like the body roll above 30mph. It really works well when going slow over rocks and ruts with the sway bar removed. This would be nice to have the option to use a quick disconnect though.
