i have a full fmf system on my 300 with a power core 4 silencer. i put a fatty grab bar on it to try and not have the silencer stick out so far...its still hanging about 1" farther than the grtab bar.

could anyone recommend another silencer that wont stick out so far, but still be used on my fmf headpipe?

 

Didn't FMF make a "shorty" muffler for some applications? you may need to look in catalogs like Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mt. ATV to see.

 

That's how mine was. I never over cranked a wheelie, and I always put a block under the grab bar if I stood it on end. No big deal!

 

fmf makes a "shorty pipe" for dirtbikes, cant find one for quads though...
it just worries me that i might crack my headpipe, or worce mess up the exhaust port by breaking a bolt.

 

Can you get a longer grab bar?

i dont know if you want to go this rout but when i repacked my white bros pipe i cut 2 inches off the casing and then the core repacked it and redrilled the holes for the rivets. if you go this route dont cut the rong end to were ur mounts dont line up
