2001 Rancher 340 4X4 manual horsepower
#3
Just a horsepower number by itself doesn't mean much! All important is at what RPM the engine makes that power, and without also seeing the torque curve, horsepower is limited and even decieving information.....
For example, with a ute or trail sport quad, it will be an advantage to make power down low in the RPM range. For a screaming desert racer, it will be a huge advantage to make max power at 9,000 RPM. Plus, lots of other issues come into play, like have you loaded it down with huge tires, a winch, etc.
You thinking of buying a Rancher, or already have one and just wondering what that relatively useless number is????
