Default Can't get fire 98 Recon 250trx

got this 4 wheeler from a loser, they lost ignition key and tried to bypass it, they mixed EVERYTHING up, so as it was on the way to the junkyard it came to my house. Have rewired everything according to wiring diagram, but getting NO fire, tried all the obvious, any ideas would be appreciated.

While it was wired wrong, they burnded something out?????

By "won't fire", do you mean that you pulled the plug out and watched it as you cranked it and there is no spark?????

It has a pull starter. What does it do with that????

whoever messed with it before I aquired it tried to bypass ignition and ended up mixing most of the wiring up, took out spark plug, no fire, same with pull start. Do you think it could be pulse generator?

Unfortunally the only ignition tests I have for the TRX250 Recon require a peak voltage adapter ..
