I have a 06 SP 500 and the wires on the water temp sensor snaped off the plug, So I drained the rad into a bucket and then removed the sensor. There was a small amount of oil on the sensor but none in the bucket, I drained the oil into a clean bucket and there is no water in the oil. I took a flash light and looked into the water jacket and it looked like it had oil on the walls it looks like carbon build up ???????

 

also does anyone know were I can buy the 2 pin plug that snaps on to the sensor the Polaris dealer said I have to buy the hole wiring harness, I tried a couple atv junk yards with no luck.
