I have a 250 big red atc. The guy I bought it from let it sit 10 years in his shed. The carb slide was seized and carb gummed up. I cleaned it out good and it would start and run as long as the choke was on. I put a kit in it to solve that problem. Now it's worse. It doesn't want to start at all. It will pop off for a second then quit. When it does start I have to feather the throttle to keep it running. I've taken the carb off 3 times and checked it out. It is getting good fuel through the petcock so the tank and screen aren't the problem. The throttle linkage was bent from the seized slide. I straightened it out but not sure of the adjustment there. All jets and passages are clear. Any Ideas???? Any link for the carb adjustment procedures? I set the mixture screw at the 2 1/2 turns out as in the owners manual and have played with it.
