I have the Symtec's as well and love them.....And yes they have the thumb warmer also...I have a pic in my gallery of the control panel.....And another nice thing about them is that you can control the hand and thumb heat setting independently of eachother...Probably the best price you'll find.....

I have the Moose Winter Pak, which comes with the thumb warmer, and so far they are great, but have yet to try them out in the sub zero temps. There is also a temperature control setting and they too are independant from one another.
As for brush guards, I have the Polaris Deluxe Brush guards, and think they work great.

I ordered a set of these but haven't tried them out yet. Seems like a great price and I like the look of the switches.

I have the symtec as well and really like them. Guru makes some sweet bumpers but for the $ I got a complete front/rear popo combo with rack extenders off ebay for under $300 new. Always had the popo bumpers on my machines and they take quite a beating without any issues.

I have the factory Polaris heated grips and thumb warmer and they work great. As stated above, the Symtec's work great as well and they allow you to control the heat over five different levels.

i have the polaris brand heated grips and thumb warmers. i think they work great. iv had them for over a yr now. this will be the second winter. they have 2 setting high and low. i usaly have them on high as iv never needed the low setting. i got a wind shield this summer for when i plow snow. i took it out for a drive not to long ago and the windshiled helps BIG TIME. keeps the wind of your hand and your face. i took it for a 10mile ride on a 30deg day. and im happy with it. i had a pair of hand warmers on my old 2000 psortsman. they were great also. all tho they had the wire in the grip themselfs. the news ones i have are the pads that go under the grip.
as for the oem bumper. i like mine. but it wont work on my wheeler with the plow on it. so if anyone would like to buy a bumper let me know.
thanks

How does the hand grips warmers compare to the MIT/GLOVE type for keeping the
hands warm and wind of them? I would only be nervous if you were to need to free your
hands to have issues with slipping thru the glove. But again I speak from no experience.
I like the hand grip warmers with the windshield idea. Isn't there also seated heat pads too?

I installed the moose hand grip warmers and thumb warmer along with the windshield.
I have been out icefishing in -15f and My hands and thumb stayed toasty warm.I had to run the thumb warmer on low as it could get uncomfortably warm on a long ride.
The Moose brand warmers are the complete grip and the heating elements are wound within the rubber grip and that works better than the grid type that is suck onto the handle bar and the grip installed over that,With this style You are heating the handle bar before any heat gets to Your hands as with the Moose style it is heating your hands first.
