Default DS650 jetting question

I need to order some jets and rejet. But I don't know what the stock jetting is, so I though I would ask here before I pulled the carb, took out the jet and looked at it. Anyone have that info? Save me some hassle.. Thanks.

well, Im not sure. I bought a used full Ron woods exhast system and called ron woods about jetting and they told me to put a 180 main jet in. Than I bought a jet kit and it told me to put a 185 main and turn the air mix screw all the way in than two full turns out so I did. The bike seems to run good but Im going up against my brothers YZF 450 this week on a 1/4 mile. I want to bet him so bad because his bike is so fast, so I thought I needed to jet the bike out to do so. What do you think.

you've got a lot of things to look at for jetting and overall bike setup, #1 matching ur main jet with ur elevation, if u've got a stock setup with just a pipe u wont need to touch the other carb parts, like the needle and clip position. Your air/fuel mixture screw should be checked though. Then if your setup is better suited for u to run no air box lid or with the air box lid attached. also make sure u have an aftermarket air filter, and that it is clean! And what year DS you have, the older DS's are known for the carb - air box boot collapsing, a few clamps will hold it, unless u have an '03 or '04 and up which came with ribbed boots to prevent the collapsing.
Outside of the carb, your clutch is very important, you want all grab and no slip! I lost to a Rappy b/c of that once, put the carbon fiber kit in and never happened again lol, but i also lost a race because my plugs were fouled, so make sure u have good plugs in, the DS goes thro plugs like no other!
Other than that its basically you vs him, the DS will beat a YFZ, but ur clutch work will determine the outcome, good luck!
