Default 3amp to 5amp fuse on my 08 400HO

I plugged a mini compressor into my power outlet plug under my front storage lid on my 400HO. It blew the fuse. Prolem is this compressor doesn't tell me much on the box or instructions..just says 12V and comes with the adapter cord for my power line (2-pronged cord with 3A fuse attached to battery) So i pulled that and bought a 5amp

think this will work? I was told do not go over 5A on this line to be safe.
