Lightbulb new pro taper se bars for 2007 ds650x

i just purchased pro taper se bars for my ds650 put them on and come to find out they hit on the gas tank when i try to make sharp turns can anyone please tell me what it is that i need



ps schambo if u see this i know u had a review on bike bandit for the powermadd universal riser i wanna know which 1 u got and if it worked out for u thanks

You need a riser on your bar clamp. Most aftermarket bars will hit the tank at full turn. THere are a few bends that don't. I believe the Raptor bend is one of those that will just clear. You can find bar risers at Rocky Mountain ATV. TrailTech makes a nice one as well.

I use the Trail Tech risers from Rocky Mountain ATV.

I was looking for the same riser by trail tech,you will have to go to the trailtech website!

Did you buy fat bars? Pro Taper SE bars don't need a riser, since you can get them in high enough bends.... But if you got 1-1/8 fat bars you always need a riser.
