#1
Hey Guys!! I am new to the ATV scene but not new to the motorcycle scene
I am between a bruteforce or the Ricon 680.. I am leaning towards the Honda but the Bruteforce deal is hard to pass up..
I would like FI and independent rear. Shead some light on this issue please
I am mostly gonna be mudding and trails..
Thanks

Ya but the Honda doesn't have a locking front diff. If you want to " go deep in it" you really need the locking front diff (IMO). Besides the Honda is just so "Hondaish". It doesn't really excite. Very Ho Hum if you ask me.

i concur with this: the BF will be faster and has locking front diff. the honda rincon will be slower, but the ride will be more plush, and you dont have to worry about the tranny slipping because there aint no belt. BUT the honda does not have a locking front diffrential. the honda will also probably be more durable in the long run. good luck with your choice, as either one will be fun for you!

think before you type...
The BF does have a locking front diff. You control via a control lever on the left hand side in fron of the break lever. You will hardly need this...I have a 650i with Mudlite Xl's...I could be convinced this thing would climb a tree.
Honda's are said to be relaible, but if you service anything it will be reliable...have had our Kawa's for a few years now and there isnt much I havent tried....they perform...
Best hunting...I'd lean Kawa' buy the way...

My stepson has the 650i and has had no issues with it at all. Strong running bike, definetly more power than the Honda! It's true though that the Honda is very reliable, but as the others have said, I would go Brute in this case. Good Luck with whatever you choose!

my buddy has a 400 honda and i think his machine is a lumber wagon compared to mine and reliablity of a honda over all the others is bs they all break wheather its abuse or part failure they all break down even them hondas with drum breaks
