powder coating stock rims ????

Default powder coating stock rims ????

the stock tires suck on the 850 so should i buy tire and wheels set or powder coat the stock rims and just get my itp xtrs ????????

I've kinda been thinking about doing the same thing to my wheel's. I already have the tires on the stocker's.

I used a Rustoleum spray paint and they came out pretty good.

That looks good but I'd paint the center caps black as well.......jmo.....

Try looking around at a autozone/ autoparts type of shop. Some of them carry a wheel specific paint. I applied it to some of my brother in laws spair wheels just for muddin and it's held up very well. The finish is very hard and chip resistent.

I think powder coat would be better than paint, if the paint is applied correctiy etching primer, sandings, and whatnot, then you may be ok, but IMO I'd get them powder coated

Habor Freight sells a kit pretty cheap my buddy did his supercross with it and a used electric oven he bought for fifty bucks now he power coats EVERYTHING!
