Default 09 xp 850 no 4wd

i have 1500 miles on my xp and i went ouit riding in the snow today and realized that i have no 4wd? no icon on display and the fr4ont wheels are not hooking up?..i had an 07 x2 800 and it did the same thing at around 1500 miles.. had to replace the entire front end diff luckley it was covered under extended warranty.. i totally love the cadillac like ride on my 850 xp.. (with power steering......nice.) but im really bummed i lost my 4wd on my xp mainley cuz i have to hall it 150 miles (1 way to the nearest shop..where i bought it) anyone else had this problem with there 09 xp?...bye the way im just an old fat f*** and i always ride with my 2 dogs on board so the 1500 miles are real ez miles on the machine. and it has been well maintained all fluids changed etc etc.. other than loosing my 4wd i totally love my xp.........its a sweet ride and im really impressed with it until now

I had the 4wd go out on my xp a while ago. However, it only did it in reverse and the light on the display never went out. It turned out to be a sensor that went bad. Hope it's something simple like that. Good luck!

That sucks! Hopefully it's just the AWD switch, a sensor, or a wire.
