hi to you all i brought a pred 90 as a non starter i got it started by cleaning the stator it was full of dried mud etc etc it started no problem i was well chuffed but then i had to put a new barrel and piston on no problem i thought it will still start, no spark now i have checked all wires coil,etc i only get 1 0f 5 readings from the stator could this be the problem is it worth buying genuine parts or not thanks dave

If it did start after cleaning the stator the problem still might be the stator. The dirt and grim can hone on the inside and open up the clearances and not be effective. I went throught a very similar issue with my sons 03' 90 Predator. I replaced with a new stator and we are back in action :-)
