Default 2004 700 EFI --Nothing at all

Have been plowing for 4 days now (over 3 feet of snow) and the ATV has done a solid job with the track kits i have...anyhow...plowed last night, parked ATV in heated garage and then today when i went to start ATV to go plow out my neighbors....nothing....and i mean nothing.
THe battery is brand new and the charger is on it telling me it is fully charged. I do not even get the display to lightup when i turn the key.
Went through all the fuses and they are fine. Checked the soilenoid and it is fine. Any ideas?

Check your ground,s. Not sure if there is a fusible link on that or not.

Check your kill switch. Easy to accidentally bump it.

I went through and checked the grounds and all the power cords. I have plenty of power from the battery to the soeilnoid, but nothing past that. Put in the new soeilnoid i had (just a backup) and still nothing. THought it was the fusible links that feed the 3 power wires to the front of the machine, replaced and still nothing. Could it be a dead key switch?

Sounds like it's time to break out the test light and divide and conquer. Have power going to the key switch? Coming out? Good luck

Also checked all 4 fuses under the front cover. opened each on and they look fine. All the metal is still good. I have had the battery on the charger and even tried jumping from my truck...still nothing

Pulled out test light and hooked the gator to the ground to test power at the solienoid and as soon as I touched the solienoid, it blew the test light....what is going on?
THe battery says ok on the charger...but could it simply be the battery? POPO's are known for having weird #%$# happen and it all leads to the battery....

this post is interesting to me as my 800 when i went to move it a while back acted the same way. i didn't have time to mess w/ it and as it was already down in the lower garage and w/ snow already here i just pulled the battery and left it for winter. now my battery wouldn't take a charge(something as you described) and later on when i hooked it back on the charger it seem to take a charge or already has a full charge. what i'm wondering is if the battery has reserved the polarity causing it to act as you describe?? i have no way of messing w/ my own bike until spring but wonder if you could either hook another battery(or least bring your battery to a auto parts store and have it load tested)or battery source too it and see if its the battery or unhook the solenoid and jump the 2 big cables to see if it powers the starter. just a thought and something i will try later on. let us know.

From everything you described, it sounds like it might be a bad battery.
