i need some help with a 200 bayou that everytime it starts it smells like burning rubber can anyone tell me what it might be

 

Check to see if any wire, hose, pipe, etc... is laying on either the exhaust or the head. Can you tell where the smell is coming from? Is there a change in the sound? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

 

there iisn`t a 200 bayou there is a 185,220,250,300,400

 

i haven't touched it yet i was asked by a girl yesterday to look at it but right now i am trying to figure out a 400 yahama bigbear that everytime we hit the starter switch it just trips the starter silinoid but the shop said it was good but tested it not under load
