Default problems with sportsman touring 800 2008

I got a problem, on my SPORTSMAN TOURING 800 EFI INTL '08

The front gear case broke down
in the front GEAR CASE a plastic circle broke and had to be replaced - Roll Cage, plastic for drive, rolls

and the rear drive broke 2 times and the rear tigers got locked

- parts numbers -- PO324466, PO3234407, and some more.
Ronnie's Mail Order for atv parts, atv tires, snowmobile, watercraft and motorcycle featuring an OEM microfiche parts finder.

The bike has still a warranty so is it my cost to fix or the dilers

are there any flawed copes or known problems like this?

it's a 50/50 gamble weather or not a dealer will fix it under warranty. if you are spinning the rear wheels and turn on theawd while it's spinning then you will take out the roller cage almost every time. make sure you not spinning when you go to put it in awd.

Most likely the dealer won't fix it, unless you have a very good dealer, or they trust that you didn't cause the issue

Yes, i had to pay quite a bill for the front drive
But the rear drive broke down the first time they fixed it for free but now the atv is at the dealer again and they are deciding how's cost it is ??

Are these atv a problem ?

My atv has 11.000 km on it, about 420 hours.
And i got 27" big horn and epi clutch kit,
works were well in the snow.

we don't hear much about a rear end issue w/ these bikes. it's mostly always the front roller cage that breaks.

That machine is normally pretty decent all around. The front cage breaking is a little more common with big tires and mud riders that are stuck and turning the bigger tires. If you have to pay to fix I have heard of others ordering john deer parts which turn out to be almost the exact same part but much cheaper. You might be able to find more info on it by searching here or on Highlifters site.

I have a 800 Sportsman with 27 XTRs and ride hard both in the summer and winter and havent had any problems.
