Heys guys need some help before I break down my Rincon. It started making a clicking noise when in 4 WD under a load a couple rides ago. I'm assuming the bearing under the boot is worn due to a tear in the boot I replaced first of the year. I didn't see any problems and replaced boot as soon as I saw the tear, greased up real well. I must admit I'm don't have much knowledge on exactly what happens when placed in 4WD so I asking the experts here. Honestly I may not be able to see what the problem is, could it be internal and not on the knuckle? Still seems to have plenty of pulling power but don't want to worsen my problems, any help or ideals would be grreatly apprciated.

 

If you had a CV boot torn, I would suspect that CV joint got some grit in it and may be damaged. That would be a starting point anyway.
