Minimum of 90 psi,but can loose compression when warmed up. If you can place your finger over the plug hole and wont blow thumb away from hole when turning over, just tear down(very easy) and check top end,may just need a fresh piston. OPT

When I get one of these I check comp and if less than 100psi I get on Ebay and get a topend kit that has piston, cylinder and gaskets for less than $200 and it is set to go.
