Well I went ridden yesterday, and it was a little muddy, but not bad, anway my fender got heavy with mud. Well I was ridding on my budies MX-track and was hitting a few jumps.I hit one and when I landed the end of the black foot piece hit my tire and tore my rear fender right off on the right side and broke the tabs off the left side. Has this happen to anyone else?? Will Bombardier do anything about this problem??

Of course they wont do anything about it . Anything you tear of your bike is your responsibility not theirs. I hope you don't have a long wait getting your fender it took me about 3 months to get one. And they kept having a problem with some warning sticker on it, and would not ship it until i called cust service . I've been looking at it and trying to figure out a way to brace it a little better. Good luck with getting yours

Graydon is making a brace much like the one, team Bombardier used in the baja 2000.You will have the option of taking the plastic foot protector off.Should be available in 2 months.

But it is their mistake to have the end of that black peice so close to the tire. I know of two other guys this has happen to. It tore it off so bad If I cut it and make my own brackets, they will be the smallest rear fenders I have ever seen. There wasn't that much mud on the fenders, this should not have happend. There will be pic's of it this week. There is part of this black piece to cut off so this does not happen to you.

This happened to me too. Complete new rear fender, 2 foot guards, 4 metal support bars, bunch of hardware. I paid for it all. You have to watch the mud build up on the foot protectors or add more support.

GUYS I HAVE THE SOLUTION THE FIRST THING I DID WHEN I GOT MY QUAD IS THOSE AWFUL LOOKING BLACK FOOT GUARDS I TOOK THEM OFF THEN I TOOK OFF THE METAL BRACE THEN I MADE A HOME MADE BRACE THATS BOLTS ON WHERE YOU BOLT ON YOUR SILENCER,SAME BOLT ON THE OTHER SIDE THEN YOU MAKE YOUR BRACE TO CURVE UP AN GO TO THE MIDDLE OF YOUR FENDER THEN YOUR BRACE GOES DOWN YOUR FENDER 3 QUARTERS OF THE WAY DOWN

LISTEN GUYS I KNOW THIS IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND IT`S HARD FOR ME TO EXPLAIN IN WRITING BUT IF YOU GUYS WANNA SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM E-MAIL ME AN GIVE ME YOUR FULL NAME AN ADRESS I WILL SEND YOU PICTURES

IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME AN I JUMP ALOT
ANOTHER THING THE QUAD LOOKS ALOT BETTER

Both you sets of tires scooby are larger than stock so you get less clearance tha original that is why they rubbed the tire
