Can anyone tell me what the track width and lengths are for the new prospector Pro S tracks front and rear? I saw in one of the dealer accessory books that they have been updated for this year.

Looks like tatou 4s are 11.5 x 40 (front) and 13 x 45 (rear)

Trek Commander 4 seasons are 11.5 x 40.5 (on all corners)

Commander Wide Tracks are 11.5 x 40.5 (front) and 13.5 x 40.5 (rear)

Not sure if the extra large rear traks on the tatous or commander wide tracks would make a big differnce or not comparred to some of the others. But I guess more track area in contact with the ground would mean a lower psi footprint.

Dosen't seem to make that much difference. My Sno only Tatous (11.5x40) go any where my buddys Tatou 4S go. Over all, the largest footprint is only approx. 1 sq.ft bigger than the smallest. They look really impressive is about all the diff is.

 

Blue quad has the latest - big -4S tracks. Red one has the smallest tracks 11.5x40 and we both got there and neither of us got stuck.

The reason I ask is because the only ones I have ever ridden are the original polaris prospectors and I think they were 11 x 40.

They seemed to do great around here, but I'm far from the mountains here in Minnesota.

Just trying to get an idea before I make the big purchase.
