Default Clear adc lines

Maybe someone can tell me why polaris runs clear lines to this pump is it for bleeding or to tell when the oil needs (turns black) to be changed? I have noticed my line starting to turn darker I wonder if polaris is using the correct oil? Black oil only tells me that I need to do an oil sample to see what is going on any input?

Just a thought here. Some fuels and lubricants are hard on rubber lines causing degregation (rotting so to speak) Perhaps the adc fluid is bad for rubber? I know that I were to switch to straight bio-diesel in my cummins I would have to take out all rubber lines, gaskets and what not in the fuel system and replace with a material that won't degrade over time. The hoses turning darker could be more or less the staining of the material in which the hoses are made up of. IDK?

I agree....some fluids will degrade certain rubbers/plastics/gasket materials, etc... I'm sure they're using the correct adc fluid and correct hose for the fluid.

I also agree and believe what you see is staining of the clear hose. In all the clear hose I've seen and or replaced...it's all had staining to some degree.

Keep your fluids fresh as per the manual and you should be just fine. If your worried about it, change the fluid.

Bleed your ADC fluid! Should always be clear. Don't drain the fluid. Bleed one side until the reservoir is almost empty then fill the reservoir back up. Bleed the other side the same and refill. Should be running clear by then but if not repeat the process. You don't want air in the ADC. Air and dirty fluid will take out an ADC pretty fast. It is about a $1200 fix.

it also could have been the cheapest material they could have used to save them money.
